During this project, Perspective-Properties has aimed to work as a team, incorporating each and everyone's ideas to create one uniformed approach. We have had our disagreements and even arguments, however this has made us produce an even better product that it more effective and well designed.
To produce the product, we realised that there would be issues to overcome. For example, we created a site plan that deviated from the brief that we later found out but after a team effort and discussion, we found ourselves able to create a new and improved site plan that was more suitable.
We created a Snapchat group that enables us to have almost instant communication during evenings, weekends and holidays to ensure that if anyone had any queries or questions to raise about their role, that these could be answered straight away. Additionally, it enabled us to get to know each other as we wouldn't normally associate with each other outside of the housing project.
Aimee is the project manager responsible for the allocation of the roles and controlling the level of work required to achieve the objectives of the housing project.
Eve is our resident eco expert.
Henry was assigned the technical role of architect, providing a detailed drawing of the site plan which includes the tree root idea. Other details required such as dropped curbs, back gardens, pedestrian areas, paths and roads permitting the houses and traffic to run smoothly.
Leila is also an architect involved in the design of innovation and inspirational buildings that meet the requirements of planning regulations. Also responsible for the interiors and the finished build.
Jack is working on marketing materials and helped to put this site together.
As project leader, Aimee ensured that each of us had roles that fit our personal profile and ability range.
